Layouts
All of my designs start out in Adobe Photoshop and Image Ready before they are made into layouts. Most of my websites are made with tables and I try to be accommodating for all browsers so that everything is compatible. A long time ago, I didn't really care about validation or proper coding, as long as it worked. These days I am trying to practice having my websites validated, as well as maintaining the correct format for code.

I am not professionally trained in web design and didn't go to school for it. I learned most of what I know from observation, reading tutorials and just practice. I am well versed in HTML and I'm in love with CSS. Majority of my layouts are made from a combination of these two things, though like I said, I am practicing better coding - meaning implementing XHTML as well. I also know very minor PHP which pretty much consists of a trick called "includes" - these are awesome and I recommend them.

Compared to my motivation for drawing, I'm always willing to learn new things to make websites. I hope to some day try out some flash and maybe expand my PHP horizons.

My arch nemesis is the div layer. I can make a div layer, don't get me wrong. But I dislike them, because they are always so complicated for me.

The screenshots/images you see below are captures of the layouts I have created. They won't show you the functionality of the layouts, but they'll give you a good idea of how they were set up.
