Writing
A good portion of my writing has been fueled by fantasy themes. I love creating my own worlds that characters can live in, and with fantasy, the possibilities are endless. I don't believe there is a limit to what you can do with this genre as long as you have the imagination to accept things that are "out of this world". I grew up on a lot of fantasy themed movies and games, so that is probably why I developed this desire to make fantastic realms and heroic or villainous characters.

I also regard fairy tales and children's writing highly on my list too. With either of these, you can get away with a lot more stuff that is crazy and it's acceptable because of the writing style. However, even as an adult, I like thinking that there's an evil witch who cooks children, a wolf eating grand moms, and oh so many others. With all of their classic and beloved themes, fairy tales are an inspiration to some of my stranger stories below.

On occasion, I do write some more contemporary fiction mainly in short story format. I can do it, but it's not my strong point. I don't really like writing about reality, only because I live in it from day to day so when I do write, I would rather be more imaginative.

My one weakness would probably be writing plays. I had to write a play for a creative writing class once, and it turned out terrible, in my opinion. This is due to the fact that plays are pretty much dialogue and I can't construct a conversation for that long and make it sound natural.

By clicking on the titles below, you'll be taken to the story of course. At the top in italics is a description of how and why each story came to be. This section is rarely updated, because these days I don't write much for myself. Below is only a selection of stories I have written; there are many other hidden away which probably will not surface here.
